Review : Iron Man 2
7May 2, 2010 by sandy
Overall, a decent movie. It has a good use of computer graphics, rather predictable plot , funny lines, just the right combination to make an entertaining movie.
Judging from all the excitement over Iron Man 2, I’m guessing that:
- People love crazy, neurotic, narcissistic, arrogant hero.
- People love the sound of pots and pans falling and crashing.
- Russian bad guy is still in season even though cold war is long gone. Especially Russian bad guy with gold teeth -_-.
- An excellent scientist should be able to make the whole iron man suit, drone and all sorts of other cool things all by himself!
- People are going to give serious thoughts about privatization of world peace. Possibly initiated by Google.
I hope they stop making 2-hours long movies though. It’s cold in the theatre and if you’re gulping some beverages throughout , your bladder will request to be emptied by the 90th minute. I hate having to make the choice of whether I should make that trip to the toilet or stay to watch the movie (I begin to think of reusing empty pop corn bucket, hmm… ).
Memorable quote that I can remember (I hope I got this right):
” I have successfully privatized world peace ! “
- from the outrageously overconfident Tony Stark
