Currency Reform at A&W
In the 1960s, Indonesian government did a currency reform that they called sanering – they eliminate all the zeroes, so Rp. 1000 becomes Rp 1, it’s interesting that now, in 2009, we once again have way too many zeroes for our own good. Time for “sanering” again?
