Finally, someone new and he sings in Cantonese. There is hope in HK music scene after all
.
I was wondering why his name sounds like a Moslem’s name, and found out that Khalil Fong’s religion is Baha’i. Out of curiosity , I searched what Baha’i is, from what I read, it seems like a spin-off from the Islamic faith. This religion is prohibited in Indonesia, that’s probably why I never heard of it. Nonetheless, I love this song.
The lyrics (in scarily complex unsimplified Chinese) – I’m hoping I’ll find someone kind enough to produce the romanised version of it and possibly translates it too , haha ^.^

I approve of this song
” it seems like a spin-off from the Islamic faith”
Nope. Baha’i is just another religion, out of Islam, as you can say so either for Ahmadiyah..
@A: yupp… i love it too
ah … i see
I wonder why it’s prohibited in Indonesia .
err, Baha’i itself have claimed so; it is a different religion than any others; however, the history tells that it is a sect of Islam which has crossed the line. Its characteristics mislead people to correlate it to Islam, for instance the namings, the terms used, you know, that’s quite troubling and confusing people (just like what happened to you
)
anyway, the prohibition might due to prevention of conflicts that might occur, and this kind of case could be more or less categorized as the term popularly called ‘penodaan agama’ just like the case of ‘ahmadiyah’ or ‘lia-eden’.
thanks a lot for the information
btw, ini siapa ya ? heuehehe PU-ers ?
If i’ve to pick out of the ppl we know, that sounds like AD =)
@A: nope, definitely not him
